For awesome hiking near Baddeck, don’t miss Uisge Bàn Falls Provincial Park.
Uisge Bàn is Gaelic and means “white water”. The approximately 1 hour hike to this 16 m (50 ft.) high waterfall is enjoyable and easy as you meander alongside the babbling ‘Falls Brook’.
You’ll find the entrance to Uisge Bàn Provincial Park at 715 North Branch Road, Baddeck Forks, Nova Scotia. It is a pleasant country drive only 14.5 kilometres (9 miles) north from the Village of Baddeck.
This provincial park trail is well maintained and has interpretive signs and a map at the trail head. There are toilets and picnic tables in the parking area for day-use. The park closes at dusk.
A fun family outing!
